are unique as they can own or be owned by other NFTs. This enables you to create NFT bundles, which are simply groups of NFTs. This guide will walk you through the process of crafting an NFT bundle on Singular.

Before we start, let's familiarize ourselves with a couple of terms:

  • Parent NFT: This is the NFT that holds or owns the 'child' NFTs.

  • Child NFT(s): These are the NFT(s) owned by the parent.

Watch the video below to learn more about Nestable NFTs.

Step-by-step guide on how to create an NFT bundle

  • Navigate to 'Your Space': Click the 'Your Space' button at the top of the screen.

  • Select the Child NFT: Navigate to the child NFT you'd like to send to the parent. Scroll to the actions section underneath the NFT name, then click 'Add to NFT'. This will pull up the 'Add this NFT' dialog box.

  • Search for the Parent NFT: Search for the NFT you'd like to add this NFT to. Note: while you can send an NFT to an NFT you do not own, you'd be relinquishing ownership of your NFT to the owner of that NFT. This action cannot be reversed.

  • Send the Child NFT: Once you've selected the parent NFT, click 'Send' and sign the transactions.

  • Navigate to the Parent NFT: You now need to go to the parent NFT to accept the child NFT. This verification step is crucial to ensure user's NFTs are protected.

  • Accept the Child NFT: Scroll to the 'Inventory' section at the bottom of the parent NFT page. Click the 'Pending' tab to see the child NFT. Click on it, and you'll be presented with three options: View, Reject, Accept. Click 'Accept' and sign the transactions.

Congratulations! You've successfully created a new NFT bundle.

Important note regarding bundled NFTs

  • Any action taken on the parent NFT will be reflected on the child NFTs. For instance, if you list the parent NFT for sale, the child NFTs will also be listed. Similarly, if you destroy (burn/delete) a parent NFT, you'll also destroy the child NFTs. The platform UI will alert you about these cascading effects before you proceed.

  • When listing an NFT bundle, you need to specify a price for all the children NFTs. This is necessary because it makes it possible to honor creator royalties on all NFTs. Don't worry though, the user interface makes this process very smooth using sliders you can easily toggle.
